Certainly one of the most beautiful hike in the Pyrenees Audoises! The very varied course between Mediterranean scrubland and shady fir trees, takes you to the edge of the cliffs to admire magnificent views of Axat and the Gorges de la Pierre Lys then on the Château de Puilaurens, the Pic de Bugarach and the Corbières.

Sports side, two beautiful climbs await you, with a long descent a little technical.
Note that you can shorten the route by park your car at the Col du Frayche.

The magnificent Cirque de Quillan, like a huge ancient arena, offers a beautiful variety of mountain landscapes. This original area, valued by the gorges of Pierre-Lys, offers hiking an exceptional space with its many trails, its fauna and flora without forgetting its historical heritage.
The Pays de Sault, paradise for hikers in all seasons
Snowshoeing at the foot, in the only ski resort of the Aude, Camurac, it is possible to indulge in the joys of skiing but also go hiking to discover beautiful snowy landscapes.
In spring, the snow gives way to a nature in full bloom. Why not go on the course of the Crêtes de Camurac through woods and meadows of altitudes to reach a superb panorama on the Pyrenees.
This region of the Pays Sault is a haven of rest where in summer, we like to come and relax in a preserved nature.
As the months pass, autumn sets in and brings with it its shimmering colors in our forests offering beautiful landscapes to hikers.
